Seit der Gründung unseres Mutterkonzerns im Jahr 1999 konnten wir uns zum weltweit fünftgrößten veterinärmedizinischen Konzern mit mehr als 7.000 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter in 47 Ländern etablieren. Wir sind sowohl im Bereich der Nutztiere - Geflügel, Schwein und Wiederkäuer - als auch im Bereich der Kleintiere aktiv. Unsere beiden zentralen Geschäftszweige sind die Pharmazie und die Biologie mit Schwerpunkt auf nervlich bedingte Störungen und Verhaltensstörungen bei Haustieren, Biologie und Impfstoffe, antibiotische Therapie und Reproduktionskontrolle.

Als Tochter der französischen Konzernmutter, entwickeln und produzieren wir Impfstoffe und Pharmaka für die Tiergesundheit. Unsere Vision ist es, mit Produkten die Ernährung einer wachsenden Weltbevölkerung mit guten und sicheren Lebensmitteln zu unterstützen und Krankheiten von Mensch und Tier zu verhindern. Die Prävention von Zoonosen hat dabei höchste Priorität. Wir stellen dabei einen wichtigen strategischen Standort auch für die Forschung und Entwicklung dar. Gemeinschaftlich mit dem Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut oder der Uni Greifswald, aber auch mit zahlreichen nationalen und internationalen Partnern laufen bereits Kooperationen zur Entwicklung neuer Impfstoffe für die Tiergesundheit. Dabei spielen Technologien, die zu einer schnelleren Entwicklung sowie zu einer Verbesserung der Wirksamkeit und Sicherheit neuer Impfstoffe führen, eine entscheidende Rolle.

Was erwartet dich?

• Independent scientific collaboration in the development and implementation of research projects for the development and approval of RNA-based veterinary vaccines, including participation in the scientific evaluation of new concepts and technologies
• Coordination of sub-projects within cross-departmental project groups and/or in cooperation with external partners, incl. scientific support of approval and marketing activities and cooperation partners
• Planning, organization and implementation of antigen design and cloning, production of RNA and DNA vaccine samples and their formulation. Development, establishment and validation of quality and quantity assays in accordance with relevant regulations Ensuring documentation, data quality and reporting
• Taking responsibility for specific topics and methods in the laboratory including guidance of technical staff

Was solltest du mitbringen?

You have a degree in biology/biotechnology/veterinary medicine or a comparable scientific qualification. Ideally, you have experience in a pharmaceutical environment and comprehensive state-of-the-art expertise in biotechnological processes, particularly in the field of microbiological and analytical processes.
You are fluent in written and spoken German and English. High analytical and organizational skills as well as strong communication and teamwork skills round off your profile. Your working style is characterized by a high degree of reliability, flexibility and a sense of responsibility.
