Our client, Pentapharm AG, is an international and innovative company and is part of the DSM Firmenich Group. They employ approximately 100 people and specialize in the production and global sale of active ingredients for the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries.

Junior Market Intelligence & Business Development Manager (m/f/d) Coagulation Diagnostics
Location: Aesch, BL
Position
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in growing our commercial presence and success in the coagulation diagnostics market. This position combines responsibilities in both market intelligence and business development, ensuring a comprehensive approach to expanding our market reach and enhancing our product offerings.
Tasks
- Drive project sales from new accounts, expand the client base, and boost commercial success
- Build trust with clients through consultative selling, aligning their needs with our diagnostic products
- Establish new clients, write proposals, lead communication, and manage sales contracts
- Use client insights to refine and develop solutions
- Drive awareness and strengthen Pentapharm’s market presence
- Contribute to strategic plans to grow the diagnostics business
- Gather and analyze market and competitor data to inform decisions
- Maintain databases and conduct performance analytics
- Support development and implementation of strategic plans
- Deliver clear reports and presentations for business reporting
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or market intelligence, preferably within the diagnostics or healthcare industry
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel regularly for client meetings and business development activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English, German is of advantage
