Clinical Programmer (m/f/d)

(based in Germany, UK or South Africa)

Your tasks

• You actively participate in setting up electronic data capture systems and forms (eCRFs/ePROs) for clinical trials.
• You create databases, program edit checks, develop custom reports and integrate data from and into external sources.
• You are responsible for performing and supporting system validation activities.
• You ensure quality and timely delivery in your projects, and, if required, serve as the technical contact person for customers during the eCRF implementation phase.
• You will contribute to the ongoing development of eClinical Data Management SOPs.
• You design and conduct training sessions on Clinical Data Management for both internal and external study teams.

Your skills

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (preferably in an information or data science field).
• In-depth knowledge and experience with databases and database structures (Oracle/MySQL).
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages, such as Java, Groovy, C#, PL/SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
• Interest in clinical research within a regulated work environment. Experience in clinical data management in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO is a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to an evolving technical environment.
• A customer-focused and solution-oriented approach with high quality standards.
• Experience with EDC systems such as Rave, Veeva, Clincase, or similar systems is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-oriented attitude.
• A high level of responsibility and structured thinking that round off your profile.
